The Ciudad Real School of Agricultural Engineers has broad involvement with the preparation of rural specialized engineers that started in 1917 with the formation of the School of Agricultural Experts and proceeded in 1968 with the production of the University School of Agricultural Technical Engineering. from Ciudad Real, joined to the Polytechnic University of Madrid (1972) and, at last, the University School of Agricultural Technical Engineering of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (1985). In the 2010-11 scholastic year, the Bachelor's degrees in Agricultural and Rural Engineering (BOE 6-1-2011) and Bachelor's Degree in Agri-Food Engineering (BOE 5-1-2011) started to be educated at the inside. Since the 2012-2013 scholastic year, the Bachelor's certificate in Agricultural and Agrifood Engineering has been educated.
